My Magic Trees

 

This watercolor painting is entitled "Magic Trees". Well, they are—really, how else would you explain how they are growing out of the tops of the bottom two? This was a doodle that took on a life of its own, and once I was painting, the trees just appeared. I love happy little accidents like that—they seem to happen when I am simply painting to enjoy the color, not focusing on the content as much as the actual act. Very meditative and relaxing.
